Basketball Teams Win Home Opener

Both the Boys and Girls basketball teams were victorious in their season opener against St. Paul's on Tuesday.  

The Boys got off to a great start, leading 19-4 after the first quarter, and that propelled them to a 40-29 victory.  

"Defensive effort was our key tonight," said Coach Philipps.

Key contributors included Frank Fortescue (10 pts on 4/8 shooting), Alston Norwood (9 pts and 6 assists), Jaqwon Godley (4 offensive rebounds), and Franklin Wilson (great defensive effort).
